A technology for recognizing people by the appearance of their veins in their hands

The technology was called AirWave. It works like this: first, the camera captures the pattern of veins and capillaries on the user’s hand. Then artificial intelligence processes the data. For further identification, a person only needs to wave his hand. The system will detect the picture, compare it with the information in the database and determine the identity of the person. It only takes a few seconds.

It is reported that AirWave has already been installed in several cafes and government offices in Guangdong in southern China. The developers hope to agree on the placement of the system in the subway. They expect that someday this technology will replace face recognition and QR codes.
