MyDigitalSSD has announced the new Super Boot eXpress Eco (SBXe) SSDs for desktop and laptop computers.
The family presents models in the performance of M.2 2280 and M.2 2242: in the first case, the dimensions are 22 × 80 mm, in the second – 22 × 42 mm. The temperature range is from 0 to 70 degrees Celsius.
M.2 2280 standard solutions are implemented using TLC 3D NAND flash microchips and a Phison E13T controller (PS5013-E13T). The PCIe 3.1 x4 interface is used (NVMe 1.3 protocol).
The M.2 2280 series includes models with a capacity of 120, 240, 480 and 960 GB. The declared sequential read speed reaches 2500 MB / s, write speed – 2100 MB / s. The IOPS (I / O operations per second) indicator for reading and writing is up to 295 thousand and up to 430 thousand, respectively.
M.2 2242 products, in turn, use TLC NAND memory chips and a Phison E8T controller (PS5008-E8T). Connection is via PCIe 3.1 x2 (NVMe 1.3).
This series includes versions with a capacity of 120, 240 and 480 GB. Read speeds up to 1600 MB / s, write speeds up to 1000 MB / s. The value of IOPS when reading and writing is up to 120 thousand and up to 150 thousand.
