Information on the Samsung smartphone with a new design has been published on the websites of the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
This is a device equipped with an edge-to-edge display: there are no frames on such a screen on all four sides. The LetsGoDigital resource has already introduced smartphone renders based on patent documentation.
As you can see, the device has neither a hole nor a cut-out in the screen for the front camera. It is noted that the presence of a retractable selfie module is also not provided.
Thus, the front camera of the smartphone will be located directly behind the display. Probably some sensors and a fingerprint scanner will also be hidden on the screen.
Shown for rendering, the smartphone is endowed with a multi-module main camera, physical control buttons on the sides and a symmetrical USB Type-C port.
It is possible that the proposed design will form the basis of future Galaxy S family flagship devices.
