LG has never been among the manufacturers that are the first to upgrade their smartphones to the current version of Android. Nevertheless, sources from South Korea published screenshots that demonstrate the updated design of the graphical shell for smartphones based on Android 10.
Comparison was made on the flagship LG V50 ThinQ and G8. The screenshots show the difference between Android 9 and the first beta version of Android 10, which is available to some South Koreans.
On the left is the current version of the LG UX shell, on the right is an updated version with identifier 9.1 based on Android 10. Fonts, application icons, and the overall design of the system have become smoother and smoother, and in the settings the buttons were divided into subsections.
At the time of writing the news, LG has not announced the exact start date for updating its devices to Android 10.
